I reserved a VIP Discount, but I did not back on Launch Day; how do I receive it?

For all VIPs, the discount price is always available. Simply pledge at the cheapest available reward tier that is currently available, and send an email to Promotions@SnotGoblinGaming with the e-mail with which you reserved your discount.

The difference in price will be refunded to you as soon as possible!

I reserved a VIP discount, how will you know to send me a free add-on?

When the Kickstarter ends, everyone will be sent a survey asking for shipping information. It will also ask for the email with which you signed up for the VIP discount. This will be referenced and your order updated with the free Add-On.

No more action on your part is necessary!

Can I just order the .STLs and print an entire set?

Technically, yes.

BUT! Be aware that 3D printed versions of this terrain are NOT recommended for optimal use.

The layering process inherent in 3D printing makes the push-to-fit function very brittle, and may not stand up to repeated use. This product was designed and tested using sturdy, injection-molded ABS plastic.

These STLs are more useful for creating static, glued-together versions of terrain layouts or for printing test pieces.

The STLs will be modified slightly from their injection-molded form in order to accommodate this limitation and be compatible with other STL printed pieces.

Printed pieces SHOULD be compatible with the injection-molded versions–but this is not guaranteed and will rely on printer quality and the skill of the user.

All printed versions are exclusively for personal use and may not be modified, distributed, or sold by the end user. All intellectual property rights to FutureProof Terrain and the associated STL files remain the sole property of Snot Goblin Gaming.

I want to order a LOT of sets, but the rewards only go up to 4.... are there any better discounts?

Technically, the VIP discount is the cheapest price that you will ever be able to find FutureProof Terrain. BUT, if you’re planning on ordering 8 or more Full Table Sets, email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to discuss ways to get the shipping cost down or other cost-saving measures.

I own/run/work for a gaming store, do you have retail sets available?

The Kickstarter is wholly direct-to-consumer. However, I will be supporting retail purchases after the kickstarter is concluded. Please email me at [email protected] if you’d be interested in a retail account once the fulfillment has concluded.

How do the WTC Expansion Add-Ons work?

The WTC uses buildings that have a lot of floors and a lot of verticality. In order to make ruins that faithfully mimic these builds, the extra components need to ordered in the form of the WTC Upgrades.

1 Full Table Set + 1 WTC UPGRADE [Full Table Set] = Components to build all 6x Large and 6x Small WTC ruins

1 Half Table Set + 1 WTC UPGRADE [Half Table Set] = Components to build 3x Large and 3x Small WTC ruins

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
